DOCUMENTARY SHORT

2005

23 MINUTES

STANDARD DEFINITION (SD)

As winter approaches, River Otters and Wolves alike depend upon these “fresh-water polynas”. Using state-of-the-art equipment, in this short documentary, Filmmakers capture magnificent creatures in their natural habitat; undisturbed by intrusive gear and staged events. Otter Eye provides a unique, “paws on the ground” experience that few wildlife documentaries can authentically imitate.

First-ever filming of wolves fishing for whitefish; Otter Eye reflects and integrates Traditional Knowledge and Natural History.
